The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.
Additional Comments:
The MS was folded in half horizontally (since unfolded). The paper was also folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There are several small ink blots in the lower left-hand corner of f.408v. There is some slight ink transfer from the previous page at the bottom of f.409r.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.408r. A marginal note explaining that a text mentioned in the letter is unpublished has been added to the bottom of f.409r. This note is linked to the main text through the use of a corresponding symbol. The word ‘Gex’ has been underlined throughout, as has ‘Belley’ on l.2 of f.408v.
