Additional Comments:
The paper has been folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There is a blob of wax on the left-hand side of f.279r which has caused some staining to the facing page. There is also some slight staining on the right-hand side of f.279r. There are several small ink blots across f.279v, and an ink splatter at the bottom of f.279r.
A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.278r. The same hand has also added a footnote to the bottom of f.278r identifying, and expanding on, matters mentioned in the text. This notes is linked to the main text through the use of corresponding symbols. The final two lines of f.278r, the entirety of f.278v, and a large proportion of f.279r have been crossed out.
