The paper was folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There are two pairs of pin holes at the bottom of the MS. The lower right-hand corner of f.227r has been torn away.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.227r. The same hand has also added two marginal notes to the top of f.227r, one of which notes that the letter ‘n’est pas sur ma liste’. These notes are linked to the main text through the use of corresponding symbols. A large proportion of f.228r has been underlined.
