The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.

Additional Comments:

The MS was sealed using the ‘Tuck-and-Seal’ method. There are remnants of the wax seal on f.191v, and the seal has caused some damage to the same. The MS was also folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There are several ink blots on f.191v.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.190r. The same hand has added marginal notes throughout identifying matters mentioned in the text and providing additional context. A postmark, ‘PA’, has been stamped over the address on f.191v.
