The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.

Additional Comments:

The MS was sealed using the ‘Tuck, Fold, and Seal’ method. There are remnants of the wax seal on f.191v, and the seal has caused some damage to the same. The MS was also folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There are several ink blots on f.191v.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.190r. The same hand has added marginal notes throughout identifying matters mentioned in the text and providing additional context. A postmark, ‘PA’, has been stamped over the address on f.191v.
