The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.

Additional Comments:

The MS was sealed using the ‘Tuck-and-Seal’ method. There wax seal is no longer extant but has caused some damage to both f.178 and f.179. The paper was also folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. F.179v is stained.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.178r. The same hand has added an end note identifying a person mentioned in the text on f.179r, and includes in this note a short verse about the individual. The note is linked to the text through the use of a shared symbol.
