Detailed Summary:

The copy is found in a recueil of diverse theatre parts taken from a number of plays. The plays all seem to have been performed at the Château de Berny, home of the comte de Clermont.

Additional Comments:

There are some minor ink splatters over the text and flourishes on f.330r, and a small ink stain on the right-hand side of f.331r and f.332r. The pages were bound together with string (extant). The upper edge of f.333 is slightly stained. F.336 and f.337 both feature two vertical fold lines. F.337 features a large horizontal tear.

The number ‘146’ has been added beneath the end of the text on f.333v. The hand changes at f.336. As the pages between f.333 and f.336 are blank, it is probable that they were two separate documents, united in the recueil due to their subject matter. The title on f.337r has been crossed out.
