Horizontal pencil lines have been drawn across the MS to keep the text straight. There is a small ink blot in the left-hand margin of p.71.

A second hand has endorsed the MS as ‘No.30’ and added a large letter ‘E’ in the upper left-hand corner of p.71. The same hand has also added a bibliographical reference to the bottom of p.71. There is a minor correction to l.16 in the form of a crossing out with corrected text added superscript.
