The MS was sealed before sending. There are remnants of a wax seal on p.4 and has caused some damage to the same.

A second hand has endorsed the MS as ‘No.I*’ in the upper left-hand corner of p.1. The same hand has also added a bibliographical reference to the bottom of p.1. There are minor corrections to the date line and l.1 of p.1 in the form of crossings out with corrected text added superscript. There is a further correction to l.7 of p.2 in the form of corrected text being written over the top of incorrect text.
