Letter signed from Voltaire to Louis Gaspard Fabry, written in the hand of Wagnière from Ferney and dated 22 April 1761.
Detailed Summary:
Voltaire writes that he entrusts Fabry with the attached letter that the son of Mr. Sedillot son sent him under the envelope of Mr. the controlleur général. He adds that if there is something he must do, he is at Fabry’s command.
The paper is countermarked with the initials ‘GR’ adorned with a crown.

The MS was folded into four (since unfolded). There is some tearing to these fold lines. There is an ink blot in the lower left-hand corner of f.1r. To the right of this ink blot is a small hole that runs through both leaves.
