The letter has been signed by Jean-Baptiste-Guillaume Haillet de Couronne and Louis-Auguste Dambourney, though the letter is in the hand of neither of these two men. A fourth hand has added a bibliographical reference to the bottom of p.1v. There are several minor corrections throughout in the form of corrected text being written over the top of incorrect text in a darker ink.
