The paper is watermarked with a shield bearing a post horn. Beneath the shield are the initials ‘D&C B[lauw]’.

Additional Comments:
The MS has been folded into four (since unfolded). It has also been folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. There are several minor tears to these fold lines and a small hole at the centre of f.72. There are remnants of a wafer seal in the lower right-hand corner of f.72v and several small ink blots throughout.
The Ms has been endorsed as ‘No.32’ in the upper left-hand corner of f.71r. A third hand has added a note to the upper right-hand corner of f.71r noting that the letter was replied to on the 11/22 April 1761. An omitted word has been added superscript on l.8 of f.72r.
