The right-hand corner of the MS has been torn away, seemingly due to water damage. This has caused the loss of much of the upper and right-hand sides throughout and consequently some loss of text. The torn pages have been repaired with paper. Margins have been drawn on the left- and right-hand sides of all pages. There is a red pencil mark in the left-hand margin of f.378r.

Select words and phrases have been underlined throughout. There are several minor corrections in the form of crossings out with corrected text added superscript. A footnote has been added to the bottom of f.347r. This is linked to the main text through the use of a corresponding symbol. Extensive marginal notes have been added to the left-hand margin of p.369v. Many of these have been lost, however, due to the damage to the MS.
