There is significant foxing throughout. The letter has been folded into four (since unfolded). Pin holes along the central bifolium fold line suggest that this letter was once part of a bound volume. There are several ink blots across f.1v and some ink transference along the lower edge of f.2v.

There is a minor correction to l.4 of f.1r n the form of corrected text being written over the top of incorrect text, and a further correction to the penultimate line of f.1v in the form of a crossing out with corrected text added superscript. A letter ‘O’ has been added to the top of f.2v and the library stamp of Campori has been added to the bottom of f.2r.
