The MS has been folded into four (since unfolded). There is minor ink transfer from the facing page in the lower left-hand corner of f.123v.

The MS has been endorsed as ‘No. 53’ in the upper left-hand corner of f.123r. Voltaire has added a postscript to f.124v. It is written vertically in the left-hand margin. There are minor corrections to l.7 of f.123r and l.16 of f.124v in the form of corrected text being written over the top of incorrect text.
