The wax seal from the letter preceding this one in the collection has caused some minor staining to f.94r. A tab of paper has been affixed to the right-hand side of f.94r with wax. The letter was sealed using the ‘Tuck, Fold, and Seal’ method before sending. The wafer seal is extant on f.95r.

A postmark has been drawn over the address on f.95v, and another has been stamped above the same. The library stamp of De Cayrol has been added to the top of f.94r. A bracket has been drawn around the majority of l.10-11 on p.94r to the left of the additional tab of paper. There is a minor correction to l.5 of f.94r in the form of a crossing out.
