The letter was sealed before sending using the ‘Tuck-and-Seal’ method. The wax seal is partially extant on f.74v and has caused some damage to the same, resulting in minor loss of text on f.74r. A small tab of paper has been affixed to the upper right-hand side of f.74r with wax.
