There is a blob of wax in the lower right-hand corner of f.42r. A small tab of paper has been affixed to f.43r with wax to indicate an unedited passage. There is a small stain in the lower right-hand corner of f.43v, and a small ink blot in the left-hand margin of the same. The MS has been folded into four (since unfolded).

The library stamp of De Cayrol has been added to the upper left-hand corner of f.42r. A second hand has added a brace around previously unedited text, and has added a note, written vertically in the left-hand margin of f.43r, to explain this. The word ‘querelle’ has been underlined on f.43v.
