The copyist has added notes to the title page detailing the performances given of the play and the date on which the play was suppressed: 15 August 1742. A note at the bottom of the page also indicates that this copy was made for ‘le Lt-general de Police’ [Claude Henri Feydeau de Marville]. A second, unknown hand has added a further signed note stating that the play was performed again on 30 September 1751.
