A second, unknown hand has added two notes to the MS. The first reads ‘m. prault’. The second reads ‘ajouter ce qui suit et le titre 4e et imprimer et suprimer le tout n’imprimer que les lignes ecrites au stile direct’. There are some small corrections to f.1r in the form of corrected text being written over the top of incorrect text. Select words and phrases, usually the titles of Voltaire’s works, have been underlined in pencil.
