A second, unknown hand has added three notes to the MS. The first reads ‘A M. diderot’. The second reads ‘1759’, correcting an earlier note reading ‘176..’. The third is the number ‘208’. Mathematical sums have been added to f.2v, possibly in the hand of the recipient, Denis Diderot. There are also five lines drawn in the upper right-hand corner of f.2v.
