The beginning of each chant are decorated with flourishes, plants, and shields. The decoration on p.141 has been cut away, and a remnant of the shield has been affixed to the manuscript between p.140 and p.141.
Additions:
There are corrections to the text throughout in the form of crossings out and the addition of corrected text superscript, such as on p.5-6, p.12-13, p.23-26, p.31, p.37, p.44, p.106, p.116, p.122, p.124, p.175, p.180, p.182, and p.184. Other portions of the text have been crossed out without anything else being added, such as on p.31, p.36, p.41-42, p.177, and p.356. Corrected text has been written over the top of incorrect text on p.6, p.10, p.20, and p.26. Missing text has been added superscript on p.6, p.38, p.49, and p.53. Extensive marginal notes expanding on the text and adding missing portions of text have been added to p.24, p.31, p.37, p.44, p.46, p.49, p.78-82, p.127, p.133, p.152, p.169, p.186, p.188, and p.190-193. Some of these are linked to the body of the text via a letter ‘K’, such as on p.41-42, p.46, p.50, p.127, p.152, p.169, p.186, p.190, and p.192-3. Incorrect text has occassionally been scraped away, such as on p.43. A cross has been added in the left-hand margin of p.208. Footnotes have been added to p.239-243. Brackets have been added around large portions of the text on p.243-246. A note has been added to p.265 which states that the pages of the MS which had been cut out were full of rubbish.
