The MS torn on f.2, with this damage likely caused when the letter was opened as the damage is close to the remnants of the wax seal. A small hole runs through the top middle section of each of the two leaves. There are a number of fold lines revealing the manner in which the letter was folded for sending to the recipient. Small pieces of tape have been added to the outer edges of the MS.
