There is a large, full page watercolour illustration of the coat of arms of the Régiment de la calotte. The image consists of two shields surmounted by a calotte, featuring various emblems and devices of the Régiment: bells, butterflies, the moon, the “marotte” or scepter of Momus, a jester, a rat, a weathervane, monkeys as supporters, and the motto “Luna duce auspice Momo.”
