A second hand has endorsed the MS as ‘No.12=*’ in the upper left-hand corner of p.29 The same hand has also added a bibliographical reference to the bottom of p.29. A third hand, said to be a note from M. de Condorcet, has been added beneath the endorsement in the upper left-hand corner of p.29. There is a minor correction to l.24 of p.29, with an omitted word being added superscript. Omitted text has also been added to the left-hand margin of p.30. Names on p.30 have been underlined.
