Detailed Summary:
Voltaire notes that he, the old patient, has a fever and that his legs are swollen and covered in red spots. He adds that this morning he wants to got to the temple d’Esculape but cannot.
The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.
Additional Comments:
The MS features two horizontal fold lines. Voltaire’s hand appears to have been shaky when writing this letter. There are several small ink blots at the bottom of the letter on f.322r, and a larger ink blot over the fourth word of l.5 of the same.
