The MS is bound with other letters in the collection in calf.

Additional Comments:

The MS was sealed using the ‘Tuck, Fold, and Seal’ method. There wax seal is no longer extant but has caused some damage to both f.178 and f.179. The paper was also folded to create a left-hand margin on both the recto and verso sides. F.179v is stained.

A second hand has added a bibliographical reference to the upper left-hand corner of f.178r. The same hand has added an end note identifying a person mentioned in the text on f.179r, and includes in this note a short verse about the individual. The note is linked to the text through the use of a shared symbol.
