This MS presents the unauthorised changes proposed by Étienne Noël Damilaville and Nicolas-Claude Thiriot, as well as the corresponding deletions to Voltaire’s original text.

The list of additions concerns the 1751 edition of the work, published in Berlin. The additions relate to Chapters 11, 13, 15, 24, 25, 30, 36, and 37, and the ‘Catalogue des écrivains’ of this edition.
