Voltaire begins by saying that he has great esteem for Prault and all of his family, adding that it is a great sorrow to him to not be able to be as useful to him in his retirement as he might otherwise have been. Voltaire then notes that Prault’s collection of his writings [mentioned in D8625] contains interesting works and asks that Prault sends him a copy.
