Bought by Charavay at the Sotheby sale in London on 23 April 1894 (Lot. 144). Passed at the Henkels sale in Philadelphia on 22 February 1898 (Lot. 622), and the William F. Gable sale in New York on 10 March 1924 (Lot. 1097) where it was bought with a facsimile by Goldsmith. Passed at the RR Auction sale on 10 November 2021 (Lot. 635) where it sold for $7,283.
