There are two corrections to the text in the form of crossings out, and the addition of a missing letter superscript on l.2. These corrections are in Voltaire’s hand. A third hand has added several notes to the top of f.317r. The first of these, in the upper right-hand corner of f.1r, notes that the correction is in the hand of Voltaire. The notes on the left-hand side refer to the volume of the Kehl edition in which these lines occur and how they differ. Part of l.2 has been underlined.
